HI ALL! We’re back with more riso fun after a short hiatus.

This time, we’re hosting an exclusive risograph poster making workshop for anyone feeling Burnt Out, a time to slow down and reset 🕯️🫠🌫️

As a creative studio and riso press, we’re constantly in the mix, juggling creative work, admin, bookkeeping, studiokeeping, stock counting, correspondence, getting paid, paying people, social media updates, and still needing to function normally even when we’re peak stressed! We love what we do, but doing it for over 13 years will make your muscles and brain ache at some point 🧠🫠 >.< At the same time, we’re in a world that keeps telling us our value is tied to productivity and how well we perform socially. All the awesome art created also means late nights, riso printer acting up, ink overflowing in the drum, perform surgery now! (sometimes* awesome works = messy behind the scenes). 💡🎨😴💪✨

We stress eat, sleep late, drink too little water, laugh, fart🫠💨 , and cry all the time. And maybe that’s okay. Maybe we’re not meant to be productivity machines or perfectly put together social beings all the time, even if capitalism keeps telling us who we should and shouldn’t be 🤖💥🫠🧠⚙️

This workshop is a opportunity to push back against everything we think we need to be just to function. A space where art can be open, weird, silly, messy, chaotic, structured, itchy, and anything in between. You get to pour all of that onto paper. No pressure, just pweasureeeee! ╮(￣▽￣"")╭💗✨

We just want you to feel at ease in the space we’ve built, leave the stress outside for a bit, and make something you’re proud of. Something that reminds you your worth isn’t tied to your career, the money of money you make, productivity level, status, or how others perceive you. You’re already whole, and you’re allowed to take up space as you are! 💕✨

The objective of this session is simple, relax and make art. Let your nervous system slow down a little. We’ll have chamomile tea and light refreshments ready. Feel free to bring your own tea bags, caffeine, or non caffeinated drinks, whatever helps you settle in!! 🍵💞🫀🫁✨✨

Come hang, learn about risograph, and get lost in print art, colours, textures, and your creation! 🖨️✨🎨 🖼️

All materials, tools, and stationery will be provided.

You will get your very own unique piece of riso art in size A3 (29.7 x 42 cm) x 5 copies.

Analogue 2 colours/3 hours
Before your selected slot date, we will send a reminder via email to provide us with up to 10 high resolution images of your desired subject before the workshop.

Digital 3 colours/3.5 hours
Please have your high resolution graphic materials saved before joining the workshop. A reminder will be sent beforehand. You will need to bring your iPad or laptop with Photoshop, Affinity, or Procreate installed. You will learn techniques and workflows to create more detailed and refined artworks.

Our workshop sessions are not well suited for children under the age of 13. However, should you wish to arrange a private workshop for you and your child, do let us know by email. 💞
